Directions to Bellmora Beach HouseVIA NEW BRUNSWICK,CONFEDERATION BRIDGE. Once you drive from New Brunswick to PEI, you will drive east towards Charlottetown. As you approach the city drive down University Ave. You will pass such landmarks as our University on your left, the RCMP detachment on your left. Drive to the very end of University Ave. As you approach the soldier’s monument, you should be in the left lane, ready to turn left onto Grafton Street. Drive east down Grafton towards the Hillsborough Bridge. As you approach the bridge you will drive east towards Wood Islands. You will pass through several rural communities: Mt.Mellick, Cherry Valley, Vernon, Orwell, Newtown, Eldon, and then Pinette - the community where the cottage is located.You will pass over the Pinette Causeway and then the Pinette Bridge. Proceed up a small incline and on your right you will see a road sign that will indicate the Bellmora-2 km's. Drive until you arrive at a former gas station. At this point turn right onto the Ponds Road. Drive down the road and when you see a large yellow house on your right, you will take the third driveway past this house. You will then turn right onto the Red Sail Road. Drive down the Red Sail Road to the water. The Bellmora will be on your right. FROM THE AIRPORT: Should you be flying into the Charlottetown Airport, you will leave the airport and go to the end of the driveway. At this point, turn left onto the Brackley Point Road. Drive towards the first set of traffic lights and take a left onto Riverside Drive. You will drive for several miles and pass such locations as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Cavendish Agra on your right and the large Irving Oil tanks on your left. At the Oil tanks, you will take a left turn onto the Hillsborough Bridge. Drive east on the bridge towards Wood Islands. Please refer to the above directions that will link you from this point to the various rural communities and then onward to Pinette.... FROM WOOD ISLAND FERRY: If you are coming to the Island from Nova Scotia, you will probably take the ferry service to PEI. There is a toll free number(1-800-565-0201) By phoning this number, you will get the time of the next particular sailing. At times, especially when the winds are strong, the service may be cancelled. So please check.Once you have arrived in Wood Islands, you will drive west towards Charlottetown. You will stay on the Trans Canada HWY(.There is a Tourist Information Centre in Wood Islands and also a liquor store.)You will drive through several small rural communities: Belle River, Flat River, and then Pinette. This is where the cottage is located. You will pass the Belfast Consolidated School on your right, the Belfast Firehall on your right, and from this point, you will drive a short distance and watch for a former gas station. At this garage, you will turn left onto the Ponds Road. At this intersection, you will see two houses on your left-one is grey, the other is light tan. Drive down the Ponds Road until you come to a large yellow house on your right. Take the third driveway past this point and turn right onto the Red Sail Road. Drive to the very end of the Red Sail and you will see the Bellmora on your right.
